Therapeutic/Orthopedic Massage Therapy

Patricia Chartrand, NCTMB, LMT

For maintenance I suggest at least once a month, but no longer than six weeks to keep the body balanced and meridians and lymph open and flowing freely. If you come in with an injury or chronic pain, more sessions may be needed.

Too much stress for too long a period can negatively affect the immune system. Therefore, controlling stress will in turn cause the immune system to function more effectively. Also, the lymphatic system’s job is to rid the body of toxins, infection and debris out of the muscle tissue and into the lymph system. This is why it is so important to drink plenty of water after your treatment.

Every therapist has their own style and techniques. My training focuses in pain management and complete structural balance throughout the body. I treat chronic pain and common injuries along with follow up visits and wellness treatments. My specialties include lymph drainage for full body detoxification, TBM for food allergies, metal toxicity and sugar metabolism, acupressure and orthopedic techniques. I use a combination of all these techniques in my massage practice to achieve optimal results. I work closely with Chiropractors and Physicians.

We will discuss these issues and I will explain which treatments will work best for you. During the treatment I use the draping method so you will feel comfortable.
